Kaizan Restaurant Bali
Bali Seminyak Japanese Korean restaurant Kaizan is located on the Jalan Oberoi restaurant strip in Seminyak.
Kaizan Japanese restaurant is on two levels, with the ground floor oozing sophistication while upstairs section feels more rustic and more of a Korean restaurant reflecting the Korean emphasis in the menu.
Funnily enough the menu is problematic, as it is vast. There are a hundred or so of the usual Japanese dishes along with hundreds of Korean dishes, and on each time I have been there I have been totally overwhelmed with simply ordering – so many variations on meats, how they are cooked, what they are served with, is it cooked at the table, any number of options.
Upstairs you have a great view of the passing trafic traffic outside, though it is a bit smokey from the braziers they cook on. Upstairs there are large tables great for groups.
The Japanese food and the Korean food were neither exceptional nor poor, and th epricing means you can eat for oround 100k plus drinks.
Kaizan Bali Japanese and Korean restaurant is n my top 100 Bali Japanese restaurants and top 100 Korean restaurants, and once you get over the drama of ordering it is an enjoyable place to eat. Drinks reasonably priced, a good place to go with a group, especially upstairs. If you are after a more intimate dining experience, downstairs in the non smoking area is better.
