The second BII Maybank Marathon was held in the Bali Marine and Safari Park Gianyar on Sunday. Around 3,000 participants joined the fun, which began at 5 a.m. and included a 42 kilometer full marathon, a 21 kilometer half marathon, a 10 kilometer race and a children’s sprint. Kenyan runner Lilan Kennedy Kiproo won the men’s full marathon with a time of 2 hours 18 minutes 51 seconds and received Rp 171,500,000 ($17,400) in prize money.
