Badung Traditional Market in Denpasar Bali

Denpasar Traditional Market is a center of town's economics which is located in Gajah Mada Street, that is main road and become a shopping centre of Bali. This traditional market is apposite to the village temple that is one of three biggest temples in Denpasar. It is initially does not as big as like now because have changed experiences and modification which is adapting to the requirement and town growth. This market cannot be discharged from the existence of an existing market in the cross Badung's river that is called Kumbasari Market because the local society will feel incomplete if they shop but not visiting  Kumbasari Market, especially for the Balinese who want to buy  ceremonial items.

Badung traditional market is an authentic Asian market, smelly, cramped, full of all sorts of things and very in your face. BUT an awesome experience, that you should have at least once. Though not for the faint hearted. You'll pick up a guide but you just have to say No (repeatedly) if you don't want one. If you do actually want to shop here, then a guide is very useful. Just tell them what you are after and they'll save you heaps of time. If you are cooking in Bali then the food and spices are worth buying. Also the ground floor had some great material shops (plus some of the neighbouring streets). Warning it can be rather hot in there, as its wall to wall full of ...everything!
