Cristiano Ronadlo, Real Madrid striker and media
icon, will be in Bali on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, to attend a tree
planting ceremony in Bali's southern mangrove that will also be attended
by Indonesia’s president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.According to Beritasatu.com, Ronaldo will land in Bali at 10:00 pm on Monday night and spend the night at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel before attending the planting the following morning.
The planting, organized by the Artha Graha Peduli Foundation, will take place at Telaga Waja in Benoa Bay with the Indonesian president and the Minister of Forestry Zulkifli Hasan.
A media conference is planned for the afternoon at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel before participating in an invitation-only dinner on Wednesday evening.
Cristiano Ronaldo serves as an international mangrove ambassador for the Bali-based Peduli Mangrove Forum (Mangrove Care Forum) operated by the Artha Graha Peduli Foundation.
